Hazel Mae Knighton Waddell, 84, and formerly of 608 Crescent Green Pond Rd., went home to be with her Lord, Friday - July 23, 2010.
A native of Spartanburg County, she was the daughter of the late Lewis and Bessie Mae Cromer Knighton, the widow of the late James Henry Waddell and a member of Gethsemane Independent Baptist Church.
Survivors include two daughters; Joyce Aiken of Lyman, Brenda Rhodes and her husband Dusty of Woodruff, one son; Phil Waddell and his wife Sherry of Woodruff, one brother; M. L. Knighton of Woodruff, one sister; Irene Bray of Anderson, seven grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Visitation will be held 2:00 – 3:00 pm, Sunday - July 25, 2010 at Forest Hills Funeral Home prior to the 3:00 pm funeral services to be held in The Stribling Memorial Chapel, officiated by Rev.
