Life Legacy
Lois Evelyn Bailey Stroud, 94, of Carrollton, Georgia and formerly of Woodruff, SC passed away Saturday July 10, 2010 after a fourteen year struggle with Alzheimer's Disease.
Mrs. Stroud was born July 4, 1916, in Union County, SC to the late E.L. and Lillian Estes Bailey. She was married on July 8, 1939 to the late Henry Stroud. She was a retired merchant in Woodruff.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Mary and Bill Erickson of Carrollton, GA, grandchildren Amy Wilson of Alpharetta, GA, and Bill Erickson of Carrboro, NC, great-grand daughter Lillian Wilson of Alpharetta, GA three nieces and one nephew.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by siblings Ellis Bailey and Nancy Davis of Enoree, SC, Earle Bailey of Woodruff and Carl Bailey of Mesa Arizona.
Graveside services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday July 14, 2010 at Greenhaven Memorial Gardens officiated by Rev. Amy Bratton. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Emma Gray UMC, P.O. Box 271 Woodruff, SC 29388. An on line guest book is available at www.foresthillsfuneralhome.net
